Hello, I am Captain Michael Savedow. I invite you to join me on a trip off the beaten path of every day life into the world of the Florida Saltwater Indian River Backcountry. As you fish with Light Tackle for Redfish, Seatrout,and a wide variety of other Saltwater Fish, you will see Dolphins, Great Blue Herons, Ospreys and many more types of birds and wildlife on every trip. On some trips we may see Manatees, Bald Eagles, or White Pelicans. The Indian River Backcountry of Edgewater, New Smyrna Beach, Ponce Inlet, Mosquito Lagoon, and Daytona Beach, Florida is a unique tidal estuary system loaded with Islands, Channels, Bays, Creeks, Oyster and Sand Bars, Mangroves, Grass Flats, and of course, lots of fish. We are located on Florida's East Coast, just 30 minutes south of Daytona Beach and 1 hour east of Orlando with easy access from I-95, I-4, and U.S. Highway 1.

Captain Michael Savedow is USCG Licensed, Insured, & Canaveral National Seashore Permitted. He is a member of CCA Florida. Michael is a Daytona Beach, Florida native and has fished the area's salt waters since the late 1960's.
